Clos des Roses, Frejus, France

Michelle and Simon were married at a stunning chateau near Cannes.

Complete with attached chapel….

Clos des Roses grow much of their restaurant’s food and all of it’s wine. And what food…..

The Oxfam Future of Fashion Show, Bishopsgate, London

A change of scene today as I volunteered to shoot backstage at this charity event.

Crab and Lobster, Thirsk

What a truly extraordinary venue. In fact, an extraordinary day all round. There’s often a band at weddings Lucy and I cover, but the Groom hadn’t featured in the line-up until today!

A stuffed Yeti and a Cuban clock…..every venue should have one.

Not forgetting a Victorian deep-sea diving outfit, hung from the ceiling….

Some fantastic Valentines Day light.

Elizabeth and Stuart

I think One, Whitehall Place may be the wedding venue I’ve shot most in, at least in the last year or so.

Elizabeth and Stuart got married, had a great reception and then hired a London Eye pod for an aerial view of London. Then another drinks reception, followed by dancing! What a great day.

I had to feel for Stuart during the first dance. Elizabeth was a very accomplished dancer from a young age, but I think he acquitted himself very well.

I was really happy that the images met with Elizabeth’s approval..

We looked through the prints last night and they are just superb – and as for the large London Eye image, that really is something special. We had Shelley our Bridesmaid with us at the time, and as you can imagine, we were squealing with delight!

Everyone we have spoken to about our day has said what a happy occasion it was and that the atmosphere was full of energy and the photos have captured that feel perfectly. Thank you so much.

Tara and Gordon

Tara and Gordon cheated. Tara is Canadian and they got married in Nova Scotia first, then came over to the UK and had a fantastic party in a stunning Hampshire village.

Complete with piper….

For Lucy and me today was all about light….

…and what light.
