Dulwich College Wedding Photography

My favourite wedding venue? Possibly, but it’s certainly the one closest to home! The fabulous Beauberry House runs it close, but the winter light was on Dulwich College’s side as it streamed in through those massive windows.

Leon’s mother was a wedding photographer herself so we needed to impress and we couldn’t have asked for better guests and weather.

We received a great review from Leon and Nicola on Freeindex:

We entrusted David with the responsibility to photograph our wedding day.

His style of wedding photography is simply beautiful. He tells a story from start to finish, capturing every special moment from a unique perspective.

He was with us from start to finish and we can honestly say that the only times that we knew he was there was when he said ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’. David has the brilliant ability to take the most intimate of photographs without intruding on your day.

Thank you!

Skinners Hall

What a phenomenal day with Cecilia and James! The Rookery boutique hotel, an unannounced Irish dancing display, the ever-brilliant Skinners Hall, an amazing St Etheldreders Church  service with that great choir, fab guests, the list goes on…

From James:

“The images are everything we could have hoped for! A+! “

Beautiful use of natural light, fantastic work, the bride and groom must be delighted.

Warren House, Kingston

Rebecca and Dexter were married at Warren House in Kingston, my first time photographing a wedding there but we’ll hopefully be back again soon. Wedding venues with a good outside space always work so well in the summer, and there was plenty of space for kids to race around and play giant chess. There was also great light in the getting-ready rooms, something of a rarity, and I’m particularly pleased with Rebecca’s veil-and-champagne picture.

News just in from Bekki:

Wow! We’re so pleased with these, thank you so much! Glad you had a good day, ours was perfect and the party just got better and better!

Thank you so much again to you and Lucy!

lovely, a beautiful venue and natural looking wedding photographs that capture the day and just, well just, good work and thank you for sharing them with us

Hampton Court

Fiona and Andrew chose a blistering hot day for their wedding at Hampton Court. This can throw-up problems with contrast for us if we don’t tweak how we photograph the day. Shooting into the sun deals with a lot of them, and also a bit of fill-flash here and then will get rid of shadows under the eyes. So cloudy days make for easier photography, but we’d still always choose a sunny one given the choice. Here’s a few favourites from the day.
